Splunk ingest SNMP traps

Hi As per the documentation given in Splunk "http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Data/SendSNMPeventstoSplunk", I have snmp trap listener running. But not sure where the log file is stored on the unix box. Should I only run the below command as root, If I use port udp162? snmptrapd -Lf /var/log/snmp-traps --disableAuthorization=yes
