I'm using DB Connect 1. When trying to set up a DB Connect Input using the following SQL: select 'RTP' as site, consumer_app, max(to_char((timestamp '1970-01-01 00:00:00' + numtodsinterval(wsi_entry/1000,'second')) at time zone tz_offset('EST'), 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')) as "TS", count(*) as Hits from PC2WSIDBO.T_WSI_ACTIVITY where WSI_ENTRY > (select ((CAST(sys_extract_utc(SYSTIMESTAMP) AS DATE) - (TO_DATE('1970-01-01', 'YYYY-MM-DD'))) * 86400000) - 5*60*1000 from dual) group by consumer_app I am returning this error: ERROR AdminManagerExternal - Received malformed XML from external handler:\nFailed to validate: com.splunk.config.SplunkConfigurationException: Error validating dbmonTail for monitor=dbmon-tail://PeopleCentral_PCWSI_RTP/PeopleCentral_PCWSI_RTP: [PeopleCentral_PCWSI_RTP] Invalid query "select 'RTP' as site, consumer_app, max(to_char((timestamp '1970-01-01 00:00:00' + numtodsinterval(wsi_entry/1000,'second')) at time zone tz_offset('EST'), 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS')) as "TS", count(*) as Hits\r\nfrom PC2WSIDBO.T_WSI_ACTIVITY\r\nwhere WSI_ENTRY > (select ((CAST(sys_extract_utc(SYSTIMESTAMP) AS DATE) - (TO_DATE('1970-01-01', 'YYYY-MM-DD'))) * 86400000) - 5*60*1000 from dual)\r\ngroup by consumer_app" without proper {{ ... $rising_column$ > ?}} pattern! with query = \nfalse<class 'spp.java.bridge.JavaBridgeError'>Command com.splunk.dbx.monitor.DatabaseMonitorValidator returned status code 17Traceback (most recent call last):\n File "/apps/splunk/lib/python2.7/site-packages/splunk/admin.py", line 70, in init\n hand.execute(info)\n File "/apps/splunk/lib/python2.7/site-packages/splunk/admin.py", line 526, in execute\n if self.requestedAction == ACTION_CREATE: self.handleCreate(confInfo)\n File "/apps/splunk/etc/apps/dbx/bin/spp/config.py", line 230, in handleCreate\n self.handleModification("create", output)\n File "/apps/splunk/etc/apps/dbx/bin/spp/config.py", line 218, in handleModification\n id, props = self.process_modification(id, props, type=type, output=output)\n File "/apps/splunk/etc/apps/dbx/bin/rest_handler_dbmon.py", line 95, in process_modification\n self.validateConfig(stanza, props)\n File "/apps/splunk/etc/apps/dbx/bin/rest_handler_dbmon.py", line 126, in validateConfig\n executeBridgeCommand("com.splunk.dbx.monitor.DatabaseMonitorValidator", args, checkStatus=True)\n File "/apps/splunk/etc/apps/dbx/bin/spp/java/bridge.py", line 182, in executeBridgeCommand\n raise JavaBridgeError("Command %s returned status code %s" % (cmd, ret))\nJavaBridgeError: Command com.splunk.dbx.monitor.DatabaseMonitorValidator returned status code 17\n\n I am able to run a DB query with no issues, but adding the input is not working.
