Hi
Today i am trying to get JMX working on SPLUNK. I have been trying all day...
I have downloaded "**Monitoring of Java Virtual Machines with JMX**" and i have tried to get the most basic data into SPLUNK - The hello world.
So i have tried to add in the host and pot of mt JMX however i keep getting the below error.
I was hopeing to get - cant connect to server or something. However there seems to be a issues with the default example file, i have tried other example files and i get the same as well.

So i have rolled it right back to the example that came with the app, however i still get the same error.
