Service discovery and monitoring with Splunk

Hi, I would like to have a way to register web services and see the relationship between them, have basic information like a health check on the service. The thing is,the services I want to monitor come from different sources (apache, nodejs,..) , Windows/Linux, on the cloud and on local data center, so I was wondering if this can be done using Splunk? If so could you point me to some apps/plugins to add in order to have this kind of information ? Thank you for your help. Regards, Ines
