User can not see logs

I have created two indexes, two apps and have mapped users to them. There is nothing in the restricted search terms box and for either user group I have simply added the ability to search the two indexes. Unfortunately the users cannot see the logs. They get a count back, but not the actual logs. I thought this was cleared earlier when I removed the Restricted search terms, but several users still say they are not seeing the logs. I found this error: An unknown view name "search_status" is referenced in the navigation definition for "search" I am not certain this is the issue, but would appreciate it if someone could assist.
