We just set up the Splunk App for NetApp Data ONTAP, and we're having some trouble getting any of the PerfHandler data.
We're running NetApp v 8.2 in Clustered Mode, DCN is a Splunk 6.4.1 Heavy Forwarder. The hydra_worker_ta_ontap_collection_worker.log contains warnings that look like the following:
WARNING [VolumePerfHandler] No results returned handler=volume server=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
It's not limited to the VolumePerfHandler, it looks like all of them. When looking at what's in the
ontap
index, there are only two sources: system-get-version
and volume-space-get-iter
, so I'm at least seeing some data come back.
Finally, the only other non-INFO lines in the worker _delta log are the following:
ERROR [EMSHandler] EMS on server=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx encountered exception list index out of range
Any suggestions on what to look at next for troubleshoot?
