I have a metrics log that prints cumulative numbers once a minute on the minute. The log contains name=value pairs and one of those pairs is RecordsIn=. I'm trying to create a real-time chart that will show the record count each minute.
Example of the log:
Date=20160620_102000 RecordsIn=100 RecordsOut=100
Date=20160620_102100 RecordsIn=200 RecordsOut=200
Date=20160620_102200 RecordsIn=300 RecordsOut=300
In this example, data is flowing at a rate of 100 records/minute, so the chart should be a flat line at 100. I'm struggling with the `delta` command (which maybe I shouldn't be using) and the chart doesn't seem consistent when running in "real-time". The chart I have will be flat at 100 for a couple minutes then jump 300 and it seems like the delta isn't being preformed anymore.
